"James I got a sonik 100g travel rod which I like but a big big in this case. I've emailed Mizu asking for pricing and info on what's being caught.  If the wind/sea is not to rough I may hire a kayak."

Getting packed for the Lanzarote trip Meetup. Only got 15kg of baggage allowance and the lures, line and wire are already at 5kg. Don't really know what to expect as no local knowledge but if we scout some good mark hopefully a larger group can head over this winter. Dam travel rod tube is too big for the ruck sack so searching for a full on rod travel tube and switching to two pcs rods.

  • Single vs Treble Hooks

I’ve switched some of the trebles on my bass lures for single hooks.  My main reason for this is basically curiosity.  I’m keen to learn if the lures will look more natural, will the hook up rate increase or decrease, are the bass I release going to be better off plus anything else I learn about unhooking, weeds the number of lost lures etc. Anyone out there already have a view on single vs trebles on bass lures?
